4th Grade Computer Class Projects
- Graphing Survey Results
Students do in-class surveys then create both computer-generated graphs and a pictograph to display the results in a slide show presentation.
- Technologies: spreadsheets, internet, slide show presentation
- Sessions: 6
- Notes: Kids really enjoyed doing the surveys, especially since we picked some kind of off-the-wall questions to ask. In general, this project worked very well.

- Comic Strip
Students edit images obtained online to create their own 3-panel comic strips.
- Weather Watch
Students track the weather report for one week to see if the weather man changes his prediction, and then to determine how correct he really was.
- Technologies: Internet, spreadsheet
- Sessions: 5 consecutive sessions in one week
- Notes:I originally did this with 3rd grade, but it was too difficult for them.
